Coldplay is a Hot iPod Play

Coldplay My buddies Dustin and Corey had Coldplay in their playlists, so I started checking out the band a couple of months ago. Pre-ordered the new X & Y album a couple of weeks ago, and then downloaded it earlier this week when it was released. It’s all I’ve been listening to this week. My favorite track is Speed of Sound, but I also love the simplicity of the final song on the album, Till Kingdom Come.

I remember when “Yellow” came out when I was still working at U93. I was not impressed. I remember saying “I like this band the first time I heard them, when they were called U2!”
Then Rush of Blood to the Head came out and “Clocks” is an amazing song. “Politik” about what you believe in, “God Put A Smile On Your Face” is a fun one too. But this new cd is great. I watched the band on VH1 Storytellers a couple of nights ago. It’s great to hear stories behind the songs, and then hear them live. By the way, I’ll let you know how they are live when I see them on August 13th in Indy!
