Here’s Your Opportunity to Help Write a Magazine Article

I figure if it can work for Shel Israel and Robert Scoble and their forthcoming book, Naked Conversations, it might work for me too. They’ve opened up their writing process to the conversation generated on their blog. In this case, I’m not writing a book–just an upcoming magazine article. You never know, though. If we can write this article together, maybe we can do a book as well.

Here’s the deal. I’m up against a tight deadline. If you want to weigh in, you’ll need to respond promptly. I’m starting today with my thoughts. Over the next several days, I’ll use those thoughts and your feedback to generate the first draft. Again, you’ll have the opportunity to respond. If we have time, I may give you a shot at improving the final draft that I need to submit to The Church Report by next Saturday, June 18 (because I’m leaving for a golf trip after that…yippee!).

If you contribute your thoughts, I promise I’ll split everything I make on this article with everyone who participates. That’s a joke. There’s no money in writing. This is a freebie. All you and I get as a result of this little exercise is the joy of knowing that we may just help some other leader and ministry reach more people for Jesus. And, that’s pretty cool.
