Our church hosted a Delirious/David Crowder concert last year, and Crowder is as crazy off-stage as he is on stage. His rider for the concert was handwritten with illustrations...Delirious' was like 20 pages and typed. Totally great guy, great conversationalist and I'm sure he would provide some great background music @ the barbecue. Check out his book sometime, it's a great read and many 'squirrel'-ish stories are in there.

No, i don't know how you feel about your wife, but from the short times that we've talked (i was in the drama at the conference you and tim did for pastors back in april) and from the times i've seen you on stage, i know you're a man of integrity, and seem like a man who would love his wife madly.

So ya, while i would never doubt it, others could. Talk about your wife. Talk about her frequently. I mean heck, you love her more than anyone else on earth! Let your blog exhibit that.
Take it from an "old pro" at blogging, be true. just be true.

people follow that.

Kyle, that's a good blogging lesson for me. I'm taking for granted that you know how "hot" I think my wife is, but you don't even know me. I reserve that description for her. The barbecue is for "fun" people I've never met. And, for the record, I ran the invitation list by Emily before I shared this post with you. Just wanted you know, there's only one "hottie" in my life...and I'm married to her.

Cameron Diaz? You have good taste my friend. I'm glad i'm not invited, i'd stand far off and feel uncomfortable around her. some girls are just TOO hot.

besides, i've got a woman. And she's waaay better than some movie star bomb shell.

You should invite Kathy Bates, She's probably like super interesting if she's still alive. And plus it'd be cool to say you grilled burgers and dogs for "Kathy" (you can call her that because you're such close friends ;-) )

Tony - cool site. I was at the "Grow Up" conference a few weeks back at Andy Stanley's church - I agree with your thoughts.
