I understand that the rest of the country might get an additional two months of daylight savings time. Since Indiana just approved this "new" concept of DST just a couple of months ago, I wonder how many years it will take before Hoosiers will also enjoy those extra two months? You never know…we may also start running plumbing into our log cabins. I heard the rest of the country doesn’t use outhouses anymore. Is that true?

Tony,
Dude, daylight savings time is of the devil! I am sorry you must experience this! You can count on two things–there will be one Sunday per year that your attendance will really be down and then one Sunday per year when everyone will be early to church!
Love your blog dude!

Thanks, Perry. It’s good to have you back. Glad to hear you’re doing well.

I actually love those two Sundays at church because it is a riot to see the looks on people’s face when they realize they are late or early to church. That moment of shock / disbelief / I’m an idiot cracks me up. I even started announcing it to the congregation to be on the lookout for those who forget to change their clocks. Now we all enjoy it but fewer people seem to forget.
Matt,
Dude, you are totally right! I love it when staff members forget and they show up an hour early–that’s funny! BUT I make sure they are never late–I always make sure they are called by someone!
Tony, it’s good to be back dude! It was crazy for a while there! BUT I loved reading your blog during that time…great stuff!
Finally Indiana – great news. Never know what time it is when we drive through the state – depending on the time of year… EST or CST?? Now, what do we do about Arizona?
It’s always been EST in Indiana. Every day of every year. I’m not sure why that is so confusing to people.
You could, I suppose, argue that there is confusion because some parts of Indiana are in the Central Time Zone, but those areas will remain in the Central Time Zone. So we still have that problem.
Plumbing INSIDE the cabin? That sounds very unhygienic!
