My Interview at BloggingChurch.com
My good friend, Terry Storch, interviewed me recently for BloggingChurch.com. You can download and listen to the podcast from their site. Terry was kind enough to include a number of links to the show notes. It appears that I have at least a little bit of influence in the blog world, because I was able to convince Terry to use "Machine Gun" by the Commodores for the show music. It’s groovy. It’s hip. It’ll make you want to dance.
I’m thinking about asking my staff to play "Machine Gun" every time I enter the office. I think it would improve team spirit. Our productivity would certainly increase. And, we would probably develop better rhythm…which I’ve always thought is essential in church ministry. That’s the kind of stuff they never really talk about at Willow, as an example. It’s a little known fact that Bill Hybels actually has great rhythm, and look what has happened at his church. This makes me wonder: Do you think Bill listens to "Machine Gun" when he jogs? I bet he does.

I listened to your podcast this morning. I found myself wishing for a mention…I guess you just ran out of time or something. That’s ok, I’ll be waiting for you when you get back with a big hug.
Corey, Terry cut me off. If you go back and listen to the podcast again, you’ll notice that I was just about to mention your blog (after I talked about Kem and Waltz), but he made me stop. I think it’s a conspiracy. I think he has something against ex-DJs or youth pastors or guys that were just inked. Please don’t hold this against me…and please don’t hug me.
