O Canada!
I can think of a number of reasons why I’m a big fan of Canada this evening:
- One of my favorite bloggers, Jordon Cooper, is a Canadian. I’m pretty sure Jordan’s blog was the first blog I ever encountered…and that was years ago. Jordon, if you’re reading, I’d be curious to know if you’re aware of any pastors that have been blogging longer than you have.
- My wife and I honeymooned in Canada. We spent a week in Toronto in May 1991. Toronto is a beautiful city…especially in May…especially when you’re on your honeymoon.
- The Globe and Mail, Canada’s second largest newspaper, included my "10 Easy Ways to Know You’re Not a Leader" list on page two of their business section today. The only problem is that the article has me listed as "Tony Martin" instead of "Tony Morgan." It’s the thought that counts.
- I think Canada has a great national anthem.
- Tim and I are going to be teaching a couple of breakout sessions at Willow’s Volunteer Revolution Conference next week in Calgary.
- It’s currently 13 degrees warmer in Calgary than it is in Granger, Indiana. I don’t understand that, but it makes me rethink my statement from last week about not wanting to live in Calgary.
Pretty good list, eh?

He’s got to be one of the first. He was the reason I started years ago!
When I started, the only ones I knew about were AKMA from Seabury Seminary, Karen Ward, Andrew Jones, and Rudy Carrasco. I am not sure which of us were first.
