There going to get rid of the dead weight of those crazy guys hitting doubles. And those guys hitting triples better hit some homeruns because Steve says homeruns are good financial decisions & the triplers want to keep their jobs. However you wouldn't notice that given my spelling of "batter" as "better" above, unless of course he could be seen as the better batter! First batter gets to 2nd base, 2nd better gets to 2nd base, which also advances the existing runner on 2nd, to home. Two doubles and one homerun both score a run. BUT! With two doubles, you've also got another player in scoring position! Just my $.02 and I don't even watch baseball that much! Wouldn’t two doubles be technically “worth” the same?
