Hot Stops in Dallas

We arrived in Dallas last night. It actually felt muggy last night. T-shirt weather. Love that.

This morning we headed over to the Fellowship Plano campus. Mark Morgan (no relation), the campus pastor, gave us a tour of the facility and let us see a demonstration of their video system. We saw a 12-foot-tall version of Ed Young on the big screen. That’s big. Pretty cool to see what Fellowship is doing to reach more people for Jesus in the Dallas region.

Our next stop was over to Springcreek Community Church to set up for tomorrow’s workshops. We have almost 200 people registered to join us tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. The people at Springcreek have been great hosts.

Finally, this afternoon, we swung by Irving Bible Church to check out their atrium space. Wow! It’s impressive. Great gathering space for people. I can’t wait until we can create a similar environment on our campus for people to gather before and after services and to provide a fun hangout throughout the rest of the week.

OK, now for the soap update. I’d have to say the Staybridge Suites have fairly average soap. Nothing really fancy about it. It’s not too small, but it’s not really a man’s man soap either. I give it a C+.
