Idol Thoughts

My family is hooked on American Idol this year. Yes, we’re 5 (Brooke doesn’t care yet) of the 30 million viewers who have made Idol the top television show in America. In case you’re wondering, here’s who the Morgan family thinks will be the three finalists in this year’s contest:

  • Chris Daughtry (I think Emily is smitten with him.)
  • Katharine McPhee (She has an attractive…voice.)
  • Taylor Hicks (He’ can’t dance, but he has personality.)

What do you think? Do the Morgans have it right?

    Pop Sound-Paris Bennett
    PURE TALENT-Taylor Hicks, kathrine Mcphee and Mandisa

    Can’t go wrong with Chris… your wife is right (and I promise I don’t have a man-crush).
    But I have to say Mandisa is the best woman on the show. I haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet (it’s awaiting me on the TiVo), but she hasn’t let me down yet and I’ve thought her voice was amazing from the beginning.

    My 4-year-old, Sam, loves Kevin. I keep trying to talk him out of it. Myself, Chris, for sure.

    Chris – rocked the song last night
    Mandisa – who I’d like to see win
    Paris – incredible pipes and marketability

    I think you’re spot on, Tony… although I’d watch the rear-view mirror for Mandisa as well.

    Spot on! This is the same top 3 that I’ve been saying since they narrowed to 24.

    I think Chris Daughtry (my pick since I first heard him sing) will take it all the way to win it with Katherine McPhee just behind in second.
