Box Score for Weekend of March 25/26

Here’s the "box score" for this past weekend at Granger Community Church.

Music: "Easier than Love" by Switchfoot

Message: "Porn: What’s the Big Deal?" — Craig Gross, a founder of XXXchurch.com, read from Romans 7 and talked about how to combat the struggles of sexual sin including pornography. Craig recommended (1) talking to God about it; (2) talking to someone else about it; and (3) taking action to clean things up.

Service Highlights: In addition to Craig’s compelling message, the band did a great cover of Switchfoot’s "Easier than Love." Once again, the video accompanying the song was amazing. It’s pretty incredible to see how the visual experience makes the music and the message come to life.

Stats: 6,270 total attendance (4,862 adults + 1,408 kids); 48.2% increase compared to the third week before Easter last year

Percentage of weekend attendance by service:

1. Sun 10:15 am = 27%
2. Sat 5:30 pm = 24%
3. Sat 7:30 pm = 18%
4. Sun 11:45 am = 18%
5. Sun 8:45 am = 12%

Final Notes: Until this series, we had never been over 6,000 people in attendance for a non-holiday weekend. During the series, we had over 6,000 people every weekend. The average for all five weeks was 6,702.
