Happy Anniversary to Me!

Today’s the day! This marks the first anniversary of my great blogging experiment. It’s been exactly one year since my very first post.

Given the fact that this is my first anniversary, I know a number of you will want to run right out and buy me an anniversary gift. You’ll want to keep in mind that this is the paper anniversary. Whatever you do, please don’t send me one of those stupid e-mail anniversary cards.

I, of course, am hoping Emily will hear the word "anniversary" and want to celebrate my blogging anniversary as we do the other anniversaries in our life. You know. She slips into "something a little more comfortable." We have a romantic candlelight dinner. We partake in a chilled glass of red grape juice. We turn down the lights and turn up the Lionel Richie music. Then we jump into bed and watch ESPN’s SportsCenter. I love anniversaries.

    I’m Easy…Easy like a Sunday Morning…I’m sure your wife will be thrilled to listen to Lionel Richie. I always am. It makes me want to dance on the ceiling.
