New Wheels
I’ve been saving for about 3 1/2 years to buy a car. Last Friday, I finally made the big purchase. I’m the proud owner of a new-to-me car. It’s a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro 2.7T. Not exactly sure what all that means other than it has four-wheel drive. That’s pretty important when it snows as much as it does in Granger, Indiana. And, the "T" part stands for "turbo." That means my new-to-me car goes really fast. And, for you women (and worship leaders) in the crowd, the car is a pretty shade of deep blue. Though the picture to the right isn’t my car, my car looks just like this. Doesn’t it look fast?

T,
Congrats on the new (to you) car, it’s a beauty.
Your line about worship leaders had me cracking up all evening, thanks for the laugh!
Congrats Tony! Definatly a step-up from the Ford!
Try not to get any water spots on that new ride. If I were you I would be sure to turn around and go down another street if anyone has a sprinkler in their yard on your way out of the subdivision
Tony,
If this is your first turbo car here are a couple tips:
1) Never put a turbo car away wet. In other words if you do some spirited driving it’s important to let the car idle a minute before turning the engine off. Turbos need some time to cool down if they’ve been working hard.
2) Proper oil level and oil changes are more important to a turbo car. I might also recommend using synthetic oil like Mobil One.
3) Allow the engine to warm-up fully, until the water temperature gauge reaches normal, before full throttle is used.
4) For even more power a high flow exhaust will let your turbo spool quicker and improve gas milage to boot.
5) There should also be chip upgrades available to give the motor more grunt.
Now you need to come race with me to learn how to drive that thing ;-)
