Get Your Strategy On
Here’s the "box score" for this past weekend at Granger Community Church.
Music: "Hand that Holds the World" by Starfield
Message: "Big Puzzle God. Small Puzzle World." — Corey Mann, Director of High School Ministries, talked about how we face challenges and obstacles in our lives, and we sometimes don’t understand why. These experiences are like puzzle pieces. Sometimes we can’t figure out how the puzzle pieces fit together, but God is putting together a big puzzle–a puzzle that we can’t fully comprehend from our vantage point (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Corey remind us, though, that God is committed to himself and his glory, the redemption of this world and me (you). He explained how God works in us before he works through us.
Service Highlights: Corey used the story about Joseph to talk about how our lives are pieces of God’s puzzle. And, in SNL-style, we had a visit from the Culps to share the life of Joseph in a comical fashion. It was hilarious. I highly encourage you to check out the service video to see it for yourself. The Culps segment is part of Corey’s message.
Stats: 4,970 total attendance (3,930 adults + 1,040 kids); 8.5% increase from same weekend last year
Percentage of weekend attendance by service:
Final Notes: Rob Wegner wraps up the current series next weekend. After that, we launch into a new series on the weekend of July 22/23 called "Click."
