Going to Church is as Good as Doing Jumping Jacks
I know most of you don’t read Men’s Health magazine (or wouldn’t admit it if you do), so I thought I’d share this nugget from the July/August issue. Apparently the University of Pittsburgh has studied census data and determined that people who attend church services live longer than people who do not. They also found that churchgoers live just as long as people who exercise. That’s exactly what I needed–another excuse not to exercise.
By the way, the same issue cited Scottish researchers who claim that wearing sunglasses can help you avoid jet lag. I can help substantiate that, because I’ve never experienced jet lag while wearing my sunglasses.

I’ll admit it – I’m a regular reader. I didn’t see that article, but it sounds like church-goers who hit the gym have a lot of years ahead of them.
