South Bend Invitational

Sorry for not being as engaged in the blog world the last couple of days. My buddy Tim is visiting this weekend from Minnesota. We’re gearing up for the South Bend Invitational later this afternoon at Morris Park Country Club. (I don’t normally golf there, but a friend of mine hooked me up with a couple of free passes.) Tim and I are the only golfers invited, and it’s only one round…18 holes…no-holds-barred…death match. The winner gets the coveted South Bend Invitational traveling trophy. The loser has to endure 12 months of taunting and jeering.

And, in case you didn’t notice, I win 100 blogging bonus points for successfully daring to use "gearing" and "jeering" in the same post. This doesn’t come naturally folks. It’s not as easy as it looks. I have to do a number of blogging calisthenics to offer this level of insight and humor on a daily basis. This caliber of blogging is not for those with weak minds.
