Get Your Strategy On
The following happens between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
“My name is Marcus Buckingham. The women find me irresistible. I know a lot about leadership. And, I have a British accent. I have hijacked the Simply Strategic Show. I will not release the show back to Tim and Tony until my demands have been meant. I will reveal my demands soon. I’d tell you now, but then you might not stick with this weak story line until Tony’s next post. That is all.”
For starters, it was a really bad, fake-British accent. It was even worse than the fake-British accent that the woman uses on our podcasts. Secondly, this raised security concerns with Dustin’s computer. (Dustin is the chief podcasting engineer for the Simply Strategic Show.) Everyone knows Macs never have security problems and never crash.
All I knew after considering the circumstances I was facing was that this was a situation I couldn’t resolve on my own. I’m going to cry foul. This just isn’t fair! At first I thought there was some weird RSS short-circuiting & actually tried to connect to your blog live through my Blackberry to see what was up. [yes, I was that desperate] The suspense has been killing me!
But now I have a sneaky suspicion this is just a slick marketing ploy to push your subscribers over 2000, Mr. Morgan. ;) Or perhaps it’s a twisted way to help us all grow in the patience & grace department. One can only wonder.
On the edge of my seat in anticipation….
