Fantasy Draft

Just got back from the fantasy football league draft. We have 12 teams. Each team had 13 picks. Jacob and I are co-owners of our team. Here’s our roster have tonight’s draft:

  • Steven Jackson, RB, St. Louis Rams
  • Thomas Jones, RB, Chicago Bears
  • Tatum Bell, RB, Denver Broncos
  • DeAngelo Williams, RB, Carolina Panthers
  • Terrell Owens, WR, Dallas Cowboys (pray for us)
  • Joe Horn, WR, New Orleans Saints
  • Reggie Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Roddy White, WR, Atlanta Falcons
  • Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
  • Steve McNair, QB, Baltimore Ravens
  • Tony Gonzales, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
  • Jason Elam, K, Denver Broncos
  • Seattle Seahawks Defense/Special Teams

    Uh-oh! ESPN listed all the reasons NOT to draft Tony Gonzales (or any TE in the first round or two). Something about only 9 TD’s in the last four seasons and Herm Edwards’ coaching style (who’s the last TE you recall doing anything under his system?). I’m rootin’ for TO (not really for HIM, but for my beloved Cowboys). Best wishes on the season. :)

    I also have Tom Brady and Steve Jackson…here’s hoping they both have HUGE seasons!
