iDate
In case you haven’t checked it out yet, here’s the opening video to the Reel Dating series at Granger. The video is called iDate, and it was produced by Jeff Petersen, the most talented media guy in the Church today.

I’ve watched the video several times and most of the staff at our church have seen it and been very impressed.
I’ve got a question about copyright clearances. How long did it take to get permission from the copyright holders of all of those songs to use the clips in the video as well as broadcasting it live and on the internet?
I read the description on the amount of time it took to just develop the video but I’m wondering if the copyright issues took about the same amount of time as well?
Chris, I’m not familiar with the copyright clearances required for services. You’d have to ask someone else about that. My team handles all the copyright clearances for WiredChurches.com and GCCwired.com. So, for example, we have to obtain licensing to sell anything we offer for sale on WiredChurches.com and we have licensing through ASCAP for all the video we stream on GCCwired.com. Hope that helps.
