Reduced Price Drive Tickets Available

Gordon contacted me last week. His team registered for the Drive Conference at North Point, but now they’re unable to go. If you’d like to attend the conference, he’s willing to sell his tickets at a reduced price. Contact Gordon directly at pastorgkp [at] hotmail [dot] com.

By the way, I’m looking forward to attending this conference. In addition to hearing from Andy Stanley and his team, we’re going to be checking out North Point’s other campuses. Can’t wait to see how they’ve expanded their ministry reach in their region.

One more thing… I’ll reward bonus points to anyone who can figure out a way for me to have lunch with Andy on this trip. And, Andy, if you’re reading, know that I’m even willing to buy your peanut butter and jelly sandwich or whatever you typically eat for lunch.

UPDATE: The reduced price Drive Conference tickets are gone. Stop emailing Gordon. You can, however, continuing pulling for me and my pursuit to connect with Mr. Stanley. It will happen. Someday.

    If I didn’t have to speak 3.5 times in two days I would be happy to have lunch with you.

    And who told you I eat PB&J for lunch?

    Come on, Andy. You keep teasing me, but you never ask me out for a date. You’re just a big flirt. Is there any meal between Saturday night and Thursday afternoon that you’re available? We don’t even have to eat. We could just pretend we’re eating. Don’t make me resort to stalking.

    Tony;

    Not sure that I can arrange lunch for you.. but I can take you to one of the venues, grab you a Big Mac and show you a life-size video that will have you swearing you had lunch with Andy.. It worked for about 5,000 at Browns Bridge this past weekend :)

    PS: come by the booth with Tim – we’ll get you pictures with Dr. Irving, the capuchin monkey.. I’m trying to start a photo gallery – “Famous Authors and the monkey on their backs”. Batterson wore him on his head at Catalyst!
