Get Your Strategy On
My apologies to Rich. I promised him I’d post a box score this week, but didn’t get to it. It’s budget time at Granger. Blogging has taken a backseat to other pressing matters in recent days.
In case you’re wondering, we had 6,131 folks attend last weekend (4,868 adults and 1,263 kids). That’s an increase of about 5% from the same weekend last year. I could be wrong, but I think the "Suburban Legends" series may be the only series we’ve ever done at Granger where the attendance actually increased every single weekend. Typically, the largest crowds are on the front end of a series.
This weekend is going to be fun. We’re celebrating our 20th year of ministry as a church. There are very few things that would pull me away from the Michigan-Ohio State game this afternoon, but this is one of them.

Don’t worry about it, Tony. :) This is a big week for you guys. Congratulations on 20 years! How long has it been for you, personally, there at Granger? I don’t remember, but I know it’s not 20 years…
BTW, Rob is the preacher that my wife connects with most at GCC. She’s 32. Makes me wonder if Rob connects with a younger audience than Mark B. It also makes me wonder how often Rob does a whole series like this. We obviously don’t get out there enough to really know… though now that I can subscribe to the audio through iTunes, I’ll probably keep up a little better! :)
Enjoy the weekend!

Rich, I’ve been on the team at Granger for over 8 years. Also, this is the first time Rob has taught an entire weekend series. He did a great job.

Rob is awesome (not that you aren’t Tony :) ). I’ve been at Granger since ‘97 so he was my Lifeline pastor back then.
