20 Days of Giving

I talk a lot around here about the weekend service experiences at Granger. The reality, of course, is that’s just a small part of the ministry. This year, as an example, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary by giving back to the community. It’s actually 20 gifts – one every day for 20 days to
celebrate 20 years of changed lives at Granger Community Church. From December 2-21, we’ll be giving to the South Bend region in unique ways like:
- Giving away free gas in the community.
- Purchasing food to feed over 8,000 families in the Michiana area through Feed the Children. Join us December 9 at the Food Drop as we prepare trucks and deliver food to families all over the community.
- Providing funds for families who are struggling to pay their rent, due to directing their income towards heating their homes for the winter.
- Helping provide school supplies for local students and teachers in need.
- Giving scholarships to single moms for continued education and life skills training.
- Helping a community center continue to provide food and English language training to the community.
- Giving local school children the chance to experience field trips to an interactive museum.
- Helping provide new baby/children’s blankets for area shelters.
- Cleaning and adding storage shelving at a homeless shelter.
- Helping some other local churches grow through building restoration and expansion.
