Vertigo

I rarely do this, because I know most of my readers are not able to attend Granger services. I apologize up front for being insensitive to your inability to respond to this post.

If you live anywhere within driving distance of Granger, you’ll want to get to one of our services this weekend and bring your friends. The band is doing a cover of U2′s Vertigo this weekend. My inside sources say it’ll be one of the most amazing arts elements you’ve ever experienced at Granger.

For those of you that can’t be here, check out the video next week. Unfortunately, it won’t be the same as experiencing it live. (Makes you want to move to Indiana, doesn’t it?)

Can you define the term “amazing arts elements”

Nick, for us, it’s anything outside the teaching of God’s Word that helps people prepare to hear and engage the truth of Scripture. In this instance it’s music. Other arts elements include media, still images, drama, poetry, dance, congregational singing, set design, etc.

While the ability to visit and participate in the Granger services makes tempting, these Florida winters would make moving very difficult.

To answer your question, yes it does make me want to move near. Perhaps if God sets the path it will happen.

Thanks so much for what you guys do for the the Kingdom and for stretching me creatively.
