Get Your Strategy On
OK, a couple of weeks ago I shared Clue #1:
"We’ve just about firmed up our first guest speaker for the 2007 Innovate Conference at Granger. (He owns a Mac.)"
Well, now, we’ve officially firmed it up. Only problem is no one has guessed the speaker based on the first clue. So, here’s Clue #2:
He has some experience as an evangelist.
The first person to correctly guess the guest speaker will get a free registration to Innovate 07.

My first thought after the Mac clue was Brian McLaren. (I missed the earlier post, so I don’t know if anyone guessed him already.) But I don’t think he has any experience as an evangelist… For some reason, Tony Campolo is coming to mind. Seems like an odd choice for the conference, but that’s what I’ll go with.

Oh, I should add that I would have guessed Guy Kawasaki, too… except he’s already been guessed, so it wouldn’t have done me any good.

Mark Batterson? Not sure if he owns a Mac or spent time as an evangelist, but he’d be a good fit for the conference, I gather.

Well after this conversation, I would have to agree with the Guy Kawasaki:
TONY: You call yourself an evangelist. In your mind, what makes a good evangelist?
GUY: 90% is having a good cause. It’s very easy to evangelize a good cause. It’s hard to evangelize crap. (you can substitute “junk” for crap if you need to)
But since he already has a couple of votes, I’m going to have to go with E-Mac also known as Erwin McManus.
Merry Christmas all!

I was going to say Guy Kawaski, but I thought I’d be original. I guess now I’m just following the crowd.
