Here are a few items to ponder and/or enjoy during a slow week in the blog world:

  • Check out Musicovery. It’s an interactive web radio that let’s you set the genre, the mood and the decade of the music you’d like to listen to. Cool graphic interface as well. You get to see the songs that are coming on your playlist.
  • Speaking of music, here’s a rendition of "Fix You" by Coldplay unlike anything you’ve probably seen before. The song is performed by Young at Heart Chorus–a group of performers ranging in age from 73 to 92. I found the link at Creative Generalist.
  • John Moore at Brand Autopsy had a brilliant insight concerning "complexity creep" that every church should keep in mind. He describes complexity creep as a situation when companies keep plugging in new things but never unplug old things resulting in confusion with customers and employees. Ever felt like you were battling complexity creep? Don’t you wish there was a salve you could apply to get rid of the creep?
  • The new WiredChurches.com has opened. We’re still unpacking the boxes, but it’s starting to feel like home.
