Dynamic Church 07
I just got confirmation yesterday that I get to hang out for a couple of days in May at the Dynamic Church 07 conference. Fellowship Technologies is hosting a gathering for their users and developers in Dallas. My friend Jeff Hook has asked me to share a keynote session on Saturday morning. This should be a lot of fun!
Fellowship Technologies is a relatively young company that has gained lots of respect in recent years. Both NewSpring and Granger use Fellowship One, their web-based church management solution. Jeff’s team is really committed to leveraging technology to help the local church more effectively care for God’s people and the people we’re trying to reach for Jesus.
Of course, more than anything, I’m always looking for an excuse to hang out with techies…especially those that are dreaming of ways to embrace innovation in the local church. In fact, I’m thinking I may need to make a shopping trip to the Buckle to get a new shirt for this special occasion. Can someone tell me if there’s a Buckle in the upstate of South Carolina?

We are very excited about your keynote. If you can’t find a Buckle in upstate South Carolina, there is a Buckle across the street from the conference center (+ 160 other stores).
We have them in Greenville. We’ll have to do lunch once you’re settled in. Seacoast may even buy!
Chris, are you suggesting Seacoast might be me lunch or a shirt. :-)

Tony–Fellowship one is a powerful tool. We’re in the middle of switching over right now. I won’t be at the conference, but WTG. And the Buckle? Come on man. dt http://www.davetilma.com
Tony,
Of course we have a Buckle–dude, I told you to trust me…I will show you the ropes my friend!!!
Tony – we’ll have to see how the lunch goes…buying a shirt for someone is pretty big level jumping.
Tony,
We are very excited about you coming to Texas to speak at our conference. By then, maybe the weather will be better than what you’d typically have in Indiana? It is colder here now then last week at your place!
OK, now what size of shirt do you wear? What color do you prefer?
Grace to you,
jhook
Jeff, I’ve been lifting weights, so I’m a little apprehensive about giving you my shirt size. It’s hard telling how huge my chest will get. (I’m a large.) And, my wife says I look good in green or black.
You’re not going to outfit me like a professional golfer with a big Fellowship Technologies logo on this shirt are you?
