We’ve Landed
It’s a B-E-A-U-tiful day in Anderson today. We arrived about 2:00. Already met Grant in the apartment below us. He and his three roommates are studying at Anderson University. Grant also attends NewSpring. As it turns out, he’s also a regular reader of my blog. In fact, it may be Grant’s wireless Internet connection I’m "borrowing" right now to give you this update. I wonder what’s going through his head right now knowing one of his pastors is living above him…
We’re heading off to the church to show the kids around. Perry is also going to be practicing something for this weekend’s services. I’m not allowed to tell you what he’s practicing. Perry is bigger than me, and he’d smash me if I let the cat out of the bag. This is going to be a big weekend at NewSpring, though. And, I’m glad we’ll have a chance to share the experience in person.
The moving van arrives tomorrow with all our things. We’re going to be busy unpacking and arranging our apartment. The kids will also have a chance to go see their new schools tomorrow. It’s going to be a big day. Of course, every day is a big day in Morgan life.

Yea, Tony, it is my wireless connection. I’ll send you a bill in the mail. Actually, I’ll just run that up to 822. No, just kidding. Great to meet you and your family today…you know where I live if you need anything at all. You da man, so pumped about having you here in Anderson and seeing God move through you and NewSpring.
Exciting times, Tony! As a Salvation Army Pastor’s kid who grew up in the 60s & 70s, we moved home countless times, and each time it was full of great experiences, some initial uncomfortableness because of the new surroundings, but eventually real happiness about feeling like we were in the place God wanted us to be.
This is gonna be one amazing adventure for you & your family.
God bless you, bro’!
