Box Score for February 18, 2007
Here’s the "box score" for this Sunday at NewSpring Church.
Music: "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol; "In Christ Alone" by Stewart Townend
Message: "Remember?" — Perry Noble,
Senior Pastor, helped walk us through the meaning behind the Lord’s Supper. He indicated we need to remember where we were, remember what He did, and remember who life is about. At the conclusion of the message, we celebrated communion together. It’s my understanding that this is something Perry does once or twice a year during the weekend services.

Service Highlights: Beyond the communion experience, my highlight was hearing RoseAngela sing "In Christ Alone." It was powerful and set up a great message.
Stats: 7,467 total attendance; 2,034 person increase (37.4%) from the same weekend last year
Final Notes: For those of you who’ve been following my blog but may be unfamiliar with NewSpring Church, you may be interested in knowing that we offer our services through streaming video at NewSpring.cc. It’s a good way to check out what’s happening and get a sense of our weekend experience.

In Christ Alone was def amazing. I was at the 11:15 and they told us to sit down during that service for that song and I was about to fly out of my seat. It was such a powerful song, i never heard done that good before.

Tony,
I just watched the first two songs on video. Incredible. I have been to lots of megachurches but that is incredible beauty and sound. Loved it. I have never seen this church before. Thanks for the link. I had 25 students read Simply Strategic Stuff. They enjoyed it. I took them to First Impressions workshop a couple of weeks ago. Last year I took them to your SSS workshop but it didn’t work out this year. All the best in your new role.
