Baptism Celebration at NewSpring

We had quite a gathering at NewSpring this evening. As you can see, it was standing room only in the atrium. I don’t know exactly how many, but I think we baptized a couple of hundred people this evening. I love seeing people go public with their decisions to follow Jesus. It was a fun night.

    Rough count was between 202 and 210. The computer will tell all on Monday. Geeeez that’s a lotta dunks!

    That is amazing. To me, this is what ministry is all about. Seeing and experiencing in the “win” like this. I just blogged about Baptism and sent a note to Mark Batterson thanking him for thier “Baptism by the Bay” video.     fyi… Found out this morning that the final count for baptisms was 212 people.
