Message: "What Were You Put on Earth to Do?" — Joe Sangl,
Pastor of Financial Planning, talked about fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. Using a cars metaphor and teaching about Joseph from Genesis, Joe explained that (1) cars were made to go places (God has a plan for us), (2) we need to keep the car ready (be prepared for the call), and (3) once you know God’s will, step on the gas. Among other things, he shared we can learn God’s will for our lives by following the direction presented in Romans 12:1-2.

Service Highlights: The band’s cover of "I Can’t Drive 55" was incredible. It set up the message on God’s purpose for our lives very well. It was a great reminder that God has designed me to exceed the limits I’ve created in my mind. He "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20).
Stats: 6,897 total attendance; 1,790 person increase (35.0%) from the same weekend last year
Final Notes: Next Sunday we launch the "Girls Gone Wild" series. This series is going to smoke. It’ll provide a whole new perspective of women in the Bible, and it’ll challenge all of us to consider the potential we have in Christ.
