Women Bloggers

Just finished cleaning up my blog subscriptions. There are just under 100 different feeds that I follow…some more closely than others. One of the things I realized through that process is that the world needs more women bloggers. In my own small effort to promote the cause, here are the women that are currently on my blogroll:

  • Amber Cox (She’s more than Mark Beeson’s daughter.)
  • Kem Meyer (She needs to blog more…and write a book.)
  • Kathy Sierra (My favorite woman blogger.)
  • Andrea Bailey (When she’s not blogging she’s editing my Outreach articles.)
  • Jan Lynn (The blogger whose last name I now know, and who offers a unique perspective on life.)
  • Joshua Griffin (He’s not really a woman but I just wanted to point out that if he was, he’d be a pretty ugly woman blogger.)

There’s five. Who else do I need to be following?

not because i said so, but because mr ragamuffin soul has found it proper to include me in his top two blogs for some reason, and i value his intelligence. :)

I have the same problem! I am looking for great female bloggers to include in SOPHOS, a blog to help apply wisdom to life, and I am coming up short. Thank you so much for this list, I am sure i will be emailing a few to see if they will want to help. I have come across Sherry Grossman, her blog is called Life and so far it looks like she has a lot of great stuff to say. Thanks again Tony

This will be a day long remembered.

I was interested in this post when I saw it on my Firefox live bookmark. Little did I know I would be included. Brilliant.

Paybacks … what is it they say about them? :)

Thanks for listing some women (and non-woman) bloggers. I’ll definintely check them all out.

An MMI (Todd Rhoades) regular poster but not a blogger – YET.

You’re always a great read Tony! Blessings.

    Hey Tony,
    “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth;
someone else, and not your own lips.” Prov. 27:2
It is for this reason that my wife would never say this, but I can and should. She has a great blog at http://www.shaula.typepad.com/
I definitely think it’s worth checking out.

not sure if you’ve checked out “indexed”, but she has a REALLY neat, fun, and creative way of expressing her (jessica hagy) thoughts…

Hi Tony! It is truly an honor to be included on your list! I agree…the world needs more women bloggers. Some funny ones. Some witty, funny, women bloggers! Hope things are going great for you down there in the sunny south!

Interesting Post, I came across a article at http://www.house2house.com/ shortly after reading through one your blogs; while you advocate for more female bloggers, Felicity Dale, advocates for more women in ministry. I know…a very touchy topic, especially in the south. Well written article, thought I’d share with you. JM (ATL)

I want to echo Robb Overholt’s praise of his wife’s blog:

    http://www.shaula.typepad.com/

It is so nice for me to read a woman’s perspective on church planting since I’m in the same boat.

One of the best women bloggers I’ve come across is Valeria Maltoni at http://conversationagent.typepad.com/

She’s on the Fast Company team and has some very interesting takes on a pretty eclectic list of topics. Good stuff.
