Idle Thoughts and an Idol Thought

Here are some random stops from my thought life in recent days…

• "I can see us living here. I hope they accept our offer." (They did.)
• "I don’t think Perry ever delivers a stinky message." (He hasn’t so far.)
• "How does RoseAngela hit those high notes?" (Pretty cool that she’s working with me.)
• "Maybe Michael added wrong. There’s no way 850 people have registered for Unleash." (I can’t wait for them to show up.)
• "It’s going to be sunny and 80, I wonder if I’m allowed to wear shorts to work." (Sun is always more enjoyable with palm trees.)
• "I think they’re going to end up with one guy and five women in the American Idol finals." (The guys can’t sing.)
• "My wife makes the best lemon poppy-seed cake." (And I still can’t gain weight.)
• "If we do that for Easter, we’ll have well over 10,000 people show up to hear about a life in Christ." (You’re going to love it!)
• "I think I’m ready to write another book." (I hope some publisher is smart enough to agree.)
• "The new My Yahoo beta is pretty cool." (Check out the college hoops "packaged page.")
• "Brooke looks so much like Kayla did at that age that it’s scary." (They’re both stinkin’ cute.)
• "I wish I would have thought of this clever idea." (The boys at LifeChurch.tv are establishing their ministry as the new frontier.)
