Welcome to a part of the country with personality: Oklahoma is western, Southern, pseudo-Texan and Midwestern, dependin' on which direction ya head out from Oklahoma City.

Anderson? I spent a week in Anderson one day. It's like a suburb without a city.

Just ribbin' ya for badmouthin' our sweet tea. It's more common in the southeast part of the state, which is called Little Dixie for many reasons.

Speakin' of ribs: Beef ribs at The County Line Restaurant, either in Oklahoma City or Edmond, is a must.

First of all, anyone who exercises that early in the morning needs to get saved because they are obviously running from something. Second, I don't think it's very godly to punch computers in the throat. Mine happens to be very sick, already runs slow (probably needs to workout with Perry), and is pretty new in it's walk with Vista.

Anyways, have a great conference. All of us normal people are very envious and jealous and are going to have to spend some time in prayer.

Tony,
I hope you fare better than the Joad family during your visit to Oklahoma...whatever you do, don't follow any urges to go west instead of east, at the conclusion of your visit...and during your stay, see if you can find out what the heck Grapes had to do with Mr. Steinbeck's book.
Don't want to bum you out, cause I know travel is hard enough, but I hope y'all gain a lot from your visit to OK, because you missed God delivering an incredibly awesome message of truth, reassurance, and hope from the mouth of Clayton King at NewSpring's First Wednesday service. It was an answer, only God could provide, to one of life's most challenging questions.
Anybody who missed it needs to check out the Podcast at NewSpring.CC
Anyway, gain knowledge, be well, and bring our NewSpring team home safe and sound.

Tony,

I haven't followed it up yet but my wife, who works at Anderson County Behavioral Health as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor, says that a mini-mall under construction behind Golden Corral will have a Starbucks. Don't know if this is true but I will start the prayer chain.

Tony,

Welcome to Oklahoma! Just in case you missed it we're called "Oklahoman's". Sounds a little more manly than a "Carolinaian" you would have to admit.

I'm having lunch with Bobby G. from LifeChurch.tv tomorrow. If you and your team have a few moments, stop by the church next door, Henderson Hills. We're not your typical Baptist church. Seems like we might have a few things in common with New Spring.

Here's a second for Ted's Escondido. Even if you don't like mexican food, Ted's will change your life. Try "The best Mexican Tacos."

My wife and I have driven from Dallas for Teds. On more than one occasion.

I was married at the church next door to Life Church. Unfortunately, it wasn't a multi-site wedding.
