More Cool Stuff from Oklahoma
Here are some more highlights from our visit to Oklahoma:
- Yesterday we had the chance to hangout with Bobby and Sam from the LifeChurch.tv team. Craig also stopped by to say hey. It was the real Craig…not the video Craig.
- Bobby and Craig actually have one of my favorite blogs that I follow. I like how they focus on specific ministry strategy issues using multi-part series. My brain can only handle small chunks of wisdom at one time.
- We got to see LifeChurch’s Northwest Oklahoma City Campus–their newest site in this region. It’s amazing what you can do with an old Wal-Mart store.
- Jason M. is a little geographically challenged. He thought we were close to both Mexico and Colorado. And, he’s the only person I’ve ever seen get lost with a GPS system.
- This morning I got to visit briefly with Steven Furtick who is also in town. Jason M. and I are looking forward to heading up visit Steven and Elevation Church later this summer. (I think I’ll navigate.)
- There are a lot of freaky smart people on the LifeChurch.tv team. This may very well be the best learning and vision-stretching experience I’ve ever had since I transitioned into ministry. (That’s not an overstatement.)

I don’t believe Jason said that. I think he said that Colorado was to the Northwest and that Mexico was to the South. And he got lost on the GPS because people told him to pull over.
You were in Floating Axhead country and we had to read about it…LC is even our place of worship…South OKC rocks.
I’m with Perry…I lift at 4:30am.
