Yes.

In case you missed it…

  • Yes, over 150 people accepted Christ at NewSpring yesterday.
  • Yes, we’re going to launch a second NewSpring campus in Greenville by next Easter.
  • Yes, we’re already talking about additional future campuses.
  • Yes, we’re going to expand our children’s ministry center in Anderson.
  • Yes, we’re going to open up a brand new student ministry center for Fuse and Ignite on our Anderson campus.
  • Yes, someone’s life will be changed forever this coming weekend.
  • Yes, we realize what we’re experiencing isn’t supposed to happen in a church located in a town of 25,000 people.
  • Yes, we understand that none of this can happen without a move of God and a bunch of faithful people committed to reaching their friends for Christ.
  • Yes, this kind of stuff keeps me awake at night dreaming and praying for what’s coming next.
  • Yes, we could use your prayers.

Dude – if I was not planting a church in Decatur Alabama I would move to Anderson SC and get a job and clean the bathrooms at Newspring for free. Me and my wife actually talked about that last night. We are hoping and praying for a portion of the blessing God is pouring out there to be poured out here. We talked about Granger too – but winter there would suck. We love what you do and pray for you guys constantly!

Tony, that’s amazing. God is on the move and we’re praying for you guys. Been reading your’s and Perry’s blogs for nearly a year now. Inspiring stuff. God is also on the move here in Egypt. He’s so good.

    Decatur Dude Dave,
Not that we wouldn’t welcome some Decaturians, or even some Decaturites, but I am certain there are people in Decatur that need the Godly “seed” you are planting as badly as we Andersonians, or Andersonites or whatever we are, need God and the leadership He has empowered at NewSpring.
So I join you and your wife in your prayers that God will pour His blessings on you, your community and His church.
I am in awe of anyone faithful enough and bold enough to follow the path on which you and your wife have been lead. We would love to have you in Anderson, but I am guessing that Decatur truly NEEDS you.
    Keep on keepin’ on…
    Chip

Sounds like God to me! Please know Tony that God is not only using you and the rest of Newspring to make an impact in Anderson, but also through your blog and Perry’s, being able to see the services online, your resources, etc., you are making a difference in other parts of the planet as well. BTW, when is registration going to open up for Unleash ’08. Don’t want to miss out. Praying for you!!!

I got excited… I saw “Greenville” and was like YES! Then I realized that it was Greenville, SC and not NC. If yall are planning an out of state campus, Greenville-North Carolina is in serious need of a dynamic emerging church like newspring.
