Executive Assistant Opening

Check this out. I have another opening on our NewSpring staff team that I need to fill. This person will work side-by-side with me on a daily basis in an executive assistant role. Forget whatever stereotypes you have of assistants or secretaries–this isn’t that role. I’m looking for someone who is…

  • A member at NewSpring. ("I’m in the game.")
  • Completely sold out to the NewSpring mission and vision and loves Jesus. ("And, I love this place!")
  • A leader. ("We can do this…together.")
  • Great with details. ("I eat, breathe and sleep task lists.")
  • Relationally savvy. ("My job is to make you feel smart.")
  • Experienced with project management. In other words, I’m not going to be constantly holding this person’s hand. (Tony’s former assistants all around the globe are shouting "amen!")
  • Committed to delivering projects with excellence. ("I’m more reliable than FedEx.")
  • A multi-tasker. ("Bring it on!")
  • Able to write–that’s the ideal but not a requirement. ("Word.")
  • Comfortable championing my cause for the elimination of country music. ("Who’s Carrie Underwood?")

If you or someone you know fits this description, have them send a message with their resume to Skye. Please don’t contact me directly about the role…and, for your sake, be nice to Skye.

How excited am I to see that someone who understands the true role of an Executive Assistant! I had a former boss, 8 years ago, sucker me into the role and I was so disappointed until I realized the role plays into my gifts and my passions! It’s the perfect role for me. Ok, now I’m not trying to throw my hat in the ring – I’m part of a great team already at Fellowship Technologies! See you soon at the Dynamic Church Conference!

Best of luck in your search!

Let’s start a movement! When I was in high school I had a bumper sticker on my car that simply said “Ban Country Music,” until my dad made me take it off. The bumper sticker may be gone, but the sentiment remains.

Congratulations on successfully finding an assistant. I love the description you give for who you were looking for. May I plagiarise your description in my search to replace my Executive Assistant?
