What you missed…

For those of you who weren’t in Dallas this morning, you missed:

  • The news about NewSpring’s cutting-edge "Third Life" campus.
  • My tribute to the Diaper Genie.
  • The story about the time I "fixed" the Mustang.
  • A little rabbit trail on folks that are gifted as strategic leaders…who are also led by the Holy Spirit.
  • What it means to be a part of a "SuperTeam."
  • My disappointment concerning Grandma’s beads.
  • Mom’s tech support call.
  • The challenges of leading artists.
  • And, my recollections of working with Renabell, the sweet lady who brought me coffee every morning.

Wish you could have been there. We also talked a little bit about how technology is shaping the future of ministry. It was fun!

I was in Dallas, so I didn’t miss any of this…thanks for sharing the duct tape method of auto repair. That will come in handy some day.

Oh, and the diaper genie? Way to tie that into ministry ;)

The keynote this morning was excellent! I also got to sit in on the informal Q&A session with Terry. I took lots of notes and will get those posted on my site as well. i especially like the diaper geenie story…

regarding the diaper genie, it reminded me of a pulpit quote that I recently heard that likened Christians to manure… spread around they make fantastic fertilizer, but all piled up they stink :-)

okay Tony…. do you have an audio? I’m sure I am not the only one that would LOVE to hear it…esp. the part about the Diaper Genie!

You were right, you do look taller and seem smarter @ TonyMorganLive.com. :P

Loved your keynote! I really appreciate the fact that you had 11 slides. It was a great high-energy way to close out DC07.

Hey Tony! Great to meet ya and find out who the bald guy was over your shoulder. :) My favorite part of your speech was talking about strategic leaders being led by the Holy Spirit – I don’t have obvious gifts like being able to communicate God’s word effectively or say playing the saw, but I LOVE organization, process and increasing efficiency (wow – that sounds a little OCD but still true!). Your “rabbit trail” reminded me that these are my God-given gifts that can be used to bring glory to Him. So, thank you!
