Pix, Catalyst, Likability and Pastor Steven
Places you need to go today….
- I think Scott Hodge recommended the site. Check out a Daily Dose of Imagery. Sam Javanrouh offers a photoblog where he shares one photograph each day–typically from somewhere in Toronto. It’s probably more meaningful for me because Emily and I honeymooned in Toronto when we were newly married and poorer than snot.
- We decided we are for sure heading to the Catalyst Conference in October. Maybe the best speaking line up I’ve seen for a conference. My leadership potential will be stretched.
- Penelope Trunk offers 10 ways to make yourself unlikeable at work.
- Steven Furtick is the real deal. You would be wise to watch and learn from him. I am.

Thanks for the Javanrouh link. I grew up (and got married) in Toronto (real Torontonians refer to it as T.O.)and can relate to most of the pics (some flowers and hydrants excepted…) This is going to be one of my preferred links to the distant reality of a legitimate residency status. It’s a sad commentary being a displaced Canuck with a current classification of a resident alien (add to that the trauma of southern culture and hugs…)
Catalyst looks like fun this year. Can’t wait to see Pastor Sunday from Ukraine. His story of starting what became the largest church in Europe and surrounding areas is a great testimony of how God will equip the called.
Also, Steven Furtick is the real deal. I enjoy reading his blog even though I think he overuses “Christian cuss words” like freakin and crap. Why not just use the real words? They bring the images to mind anyway.
