Get Your Strategy On
I have a big aversion to hugging other people (especially other men), but I want to give Scott Rodgers, the campus pastor at LifeChurch.tv’s Mesa campus, a big hug. His post on innovation today is stellar. Scott shares:
"Create memorable experiences. Step outside the norm. Do it
regularly. That’s innovation. Give your people a story to tell around
the water cooler on Monday morning."
Innovation isn’t about the razzle-dazzle–it’s about a memorable experience. Frankly, that’s a lot harder than opening up your wallet and buying fancy gadgets. That’s not to say technology isn’t important. The reality, though, is that all the technology in the world can’t cover up a sucky experience.

Agree. Good blog by Scott Rodgers. My favorite book is “Re-imagine!” by Tom Peters. He’s my innovation guru. For anyone who has read Peters, it would also seem appropriate that reference to, or any “stellar” compliment on original quote, should be credited and fairly directed to that author.
