I’m afraid I have to disagree with George on this one. Tools like Six Sigma are for measuring the repeatability of a process, not for creating the process itself. There isn’t any reason why an organization can’t be creative and then employ methods like Six Sigma to make sure their innovative methods are being knocked out of the park.
It’s like comparing palm trees and sweet tea.
