Message: "Clearing Up the Confusion (Part 2)" — Perry Noble,

Pastor, shared part two of his messages on prayer. He did a quick review from last week reminding us that that prayer is not about manipulation, but cooperation. He then taught through the remainder of the "Lord’s Prayer" from Matthew. Among other things, Perry explained that "we should become so full of Jesus, we don’t need anything else." 

Service Highlights: My highlight this week was hearing the song Lee and RoseAngela wrote. The song was part of a stripped down, unplugged weekend. There was no band–just Lee on the piano and guitar. We won’t do that every weekend, but it was kind of a nice twist from the normal. Sometimes simple can be just as effective…of course, it helps when you can sing like Lee and RoseAngela.

Stats: 6,016 total attendance; 939 person increase (18.5%) from the same weekend last year

Final Notes: I’m looking forward to the guy surprises next weekend to celebrate Father’s Day. No pansy food or massages. Just guy stuff. (Grunt.) Oh…yea…we’ll also hear that manly Father’s Day message that Perry has been crying over for the last several weeks.
