Comment Update
Just in case you’re curious, here’s a little update since I implemented the change in comment strategy a few weeks ago:
- Over 100 comments have been submitted.
- Zero comments have been deleted for any reason.
- Zero comments have been edited or filtered.
- And, thankfully, spam comments have been completely wiped out.
Life is good.

I have to admit it was pretty severely annoying having to go through the sign up process to comment for first time. And also less appealing to comment because I know if others like what I say in response to you then they don’t get a direct link back to my blog.
On the flip side this is a more authentic comment system. You know people truly want to interact with you because they have to work at it.
I believe the same type of difficultly to authenticity ratio exists in the Church.
