I’m proud to announce a new addition to the Morgan family. The three younger kids went with me yesterday to purchase my very own…palm tree. If you have followed my blog for any period of time, you know that I love palm trees. I used to have to go on vacations far, far away to see them. Now that I have my very own palm tree, every day is a vacation!
As you can see from the picture, it’s not exactly the biggest palm tree you’ve probably seen, but it’s a palm tree. I planted it just outside my home office window. Actually, Emily made me put it in the backyard. She doesn’t appreciate palm trees like me. Silly girl.
Well, I just wanted to share the good news with you. If I wasn’t Baptist, I’d offer you a cigar to celebrate the new addition to our family. It’s another "Happy Tony Day!"

Great…..now you’ve done it Tony!!!! Don’t you remember Perry mentioning, in his sermon a few weeks back, that palm trees cost $10,000 each????? Now every “NewSpring Slammer” in the blogosphere is going know that NS is paying you over $500K a year and you can afford to drop $10K on a palm tree the way they spend $4.50 on a Latte….hehehe. Actually, love your tree, we planted a palm of similar size on Mother’s Day three years ago and it is growin’ like a weed!!! Enjoy your SC state tree…
