You Have My Attention
Brooke is only 26 months. She knows how to communicate though…especially to her father. In recent weeks, when she senses I’m getting ready to leave the house to go off to work, she’ll confidently say, "Kiss me, Daddy." I melt every time she says it. And, I always respond and willingly give her what she’s asked for.
Just in case you’re wondering, there’s power in the simple utterances to the father.

I know what you mean, Tony. My daughter is 28 months, and there’s nothing better than the “I love you”‘s, the “kiss me”‘s, and the “wanna sit in your lap”‘s.
By the way, she’s never dating, never getting married, and never leaving home…never! My wife thinks I’m out of line, but I’m sure you understand and agree with this position.
I hear you! My daugther will be four this summer and this still gets me every time :)
That is awesome! I love watching and hearing fathers just melt when their kids speak. Very cool!
