What’s Happening Back Home

The Morgan family is still on the road, but ministry continues back at NewSpring. Here are some highlights from recent days:

• The children’s ministry team is gearing up for "Summer Blockbuster" the week of July 16. This year, we’re expecting almost 1,000 students to explore the Wild West. You’re going to begin seeing signs of Sarsaparilla City emerging in the coming days.
• Last week, 272 people participated in Joe Sangl’s "Financial Learning Experience" seminar. Joe shared more about the experience on his his blog.
• Over 5,000 people showed up for LiveFree.LiveLoud. More than $24,000 was raised for local charities. Check out the pictures from the event.
• Perry is wrapping up the "Reel Life" series today. More fun is on the way.
• I can’t tell you how many people I’ve heard say in recent days, "I’m going to Unleash 2008, and I’m bringing friends and teammates." I can’t wait! We’re going to pack out the auditorium.
