Over 40 Innovative Churches Nominated

Last week, I shared a little bit about the project I’m involved in with Outreach magazine. So far, there have been over 40 churches nominated. You can check out the list on the Squidoo lens. (Thank Seth Godin for that.) And, more importantly, go ahead and nominate a church that hasn’t been listed yet.

What is your definition of innovative? Most of these are mega churches pastored by white men (with some exceptions)? They’re all using media-related gimmicks to fill pews. Seems sort of run-of-the-mill to me.

Curious, right now, it doesn’t matter what my definition of innovation is. I’m not nominating the churches. You are. So, figure out how you’d like to define it and then nominate a church or two. And, if you’d like to help us bring more diversity to this list, we’d love that. Thanks for your input!

How do you justify paying more than 300.00 per night in a motel when there are so many people that need Jesus.

How do you justify owning a computer to leave that comment when there are people across the globe who are without food and don’t have clothing or shelter? Neither one of us can win that argument.

Just because I’m saving to honor my wife for one night in a hotel named after her, doesn’t mean you need to. Our priorities are different.

Tony I am glad you take time to honor your wife. Pastor’s wives make huge sacrifices for a great cause and more men should do more for their wives.

Just wanted to say never grow tired of doing good! Keep up the great work.
