Pulse 07 @ NewSpring

We had a wild experience at NewSpring last night. Over 1,300 middle school and high school students showed up for Pulse 07. There was a DJ, Lee and the band, the chaplain from the USC football team and iGive-a-ways. After the message, we saw over 270 students accept Christ last night. Alden and Brad helped spearhead an incredible, life-changing event for students. Here are some pix from last night.

    Awesome report .. I can’t wait to visit there sometime.

    Our youth ministry (Inside Out Youth) at SSCC had their opening night for the Fall this past week – the youth pastor challenged them on “how far are you willing to go to change a life” .. and introduced “Student Impact”, a vision to get the teens engaged in “reaching out” and getting involved in service … lots of youth attend that aren’t regular attendees of our sunday services, but well over 40% responded that night with commitments to serve …

    God is doing something in the hearts of our kids, no doubt!
