Steven Furtick and the crew at Elevation Church have hit another home run. I’ve been dreaming of an 80′s series for years. Steven’s team actually had the guts to pull it off. Very clever way to communicate the vision of the church. Check out the Steven’s explanation, but make sure you click and watch the video trailer. Makes me want to figure out what I did with that pair of parachute pants.

    Years ago Mike Breaux (teaching pastor at Willow Creek) did a series on the decades and the spiritual lessons we could glean from them. Four weeks, one each on the 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, and 90′s. I think the 80′s was about greed and the need to hold on loosely to our stuff. I don’t remember what the other ones covered. I wish I could remember what he called it, but I thought it was a genious of an idea.

    Love the graphics! I also love the creativity. It seems as if they are bringing their best – their “A” game to reach people. Love it.

    The question we all want the answer to is “Did Tony have one of those cool jackets with 25 zippers?”.
