Jacob and I are in "draft central" waiting for the beginning of our fantasy football draft. Let me set the stage:
- We’re sitting in my home office waiting to connect via webcam for the live draft.
- Skype and Windows Live Messenger are at the ready.
- I have a Google Spreadsheet open to track the live draft round-by-round and team-by-team.
- We have ESPN going on in the background to catch the opening kickoff to the college football season.
- Emily just brought food in for Jacob and me.
Aside from the draft tonight, I’m also heading to my first Braves game on Saturday afternoon. Then, on Monday evening, I get to experience my first Clemson game in Death Valley. Yes, it feels like I’ve died and gone to sports heaven.
Now, back to the draft.
….and they will be playing my beloved Florida State. Whatever happened to the days when for your 1st game of the season you played South Eastern Louisiana Technical School?

That sounds like a great weekend, but I’m really glad that the game’s on Monday night. I don’t know if Perry could muster up the strength to preach on Sunday if Clemson got the whupping on Saturday it’s gonna get on Monday!

When I saw that “GO NOLES” up there I just knew it would’ve been Robert Pooley … but no such luck … but be it RP or CB .. >i have to side w/ them on that one … I’m not FSU guy, but Clemson is more of a UGA revival, even though they aren’t the same conference … it still goes back a LONG WAY …
So, go noles, but more importantly … GO DAWGS .. SIC’em … WUFF WUFF WUFF.
