Totally, totally agree with your message (both of them!) We are BIG Ohio State fans…born, raised & live in Columbus and the fans are rabid up here! My question…how much time and energy do I actually spend on things of eternity? I LOVE OSU football…but it will eventually end and what do I have left if that’s the focus of my passion?! GREAT post! Tony, I saw that same game last night. One other lesson from it - if you take the offensive to the enemy you will wear him down.

with a wife an alum of usc (the east coast one) it boggles the mind the money they spend on tailgate spots. i know south carolina is a social state, but that is just amazing to me, and i am from an sec school.

Tony, I’m not sure if it is about the cause or the community that has been built. My husband bleeds Carolina Blue. He went to school their, he was in the Rams club, he bought season BB tickets before he moved too far away to use them. He would rather be in Chapel Hill than anywhere in the world. Because he is apart. When we, the church, can make people feel apart of the community, they will do anything for the community.

6. People adjust to your strategy.

Even if you have great success early on, people will adjust to what you are doing. If you don’t continue to adjust (or in church terms innovate) you will stagnate and loose your edge.

For those who didn’t watch, Clemson dominated the first 25 minutes of the game, but slowly let Florida State back into the game after that.

Ya know it didnt take you long at all to start knocking those Carolina fans .. I knew we should have let Alden get to you before Perry did. Columbia was great this weekend too just so ya know. LOL .. im glad you had a blast either way
