Get Your Strategy On
This just proves that it pays to be a reader of my blog. Here’s the scoop…
As you may know, the Catalyst Conference is in just a couple of weeks on October 3-5, 2007. I’m a sad puppy because our team isn’t traveling during GameTime at NewSpring. Therefore, I need some friends to go and blog about the conference in my absence.
If you’re going to Catalyst this year, you’ll hear from guys like Andy Stanley, Erwin McManus, John Maxwell, Rick Warren, Dave Ramsey and Craig Groeschel (back to First Life). Best-selling author Patrick Lencioni and former Yahoo! exec Tim Sanders (my favorite LoveCat) will also be in the house. You might also want to check out one of the Catalyst Labs featuring folks like Mark Batterson (out of the pit on a warm day), Reggie McNeal, Leonard Sweet, Chris Seay, Matt Chandler, Ed Stetzer, Dave Ferguson and Nancy Ortberg. That’s more brain power in one place than should be allowed.
You can register online or call 888-334-6569. And if you call the Catalyst Concierge team and mention that you read my blog (that’s TonyMorganLive.com), the Catalyst team will give you an extra $20 off of your registration! Read my blog. Save money!
In fact, while you’re talking with the concierge, see if you can get an even deeper discount by using the code word: “gravitas.” That’s really not part of the official deal, but if I was a concierge, I’d give you an extra five bucks off if you tried to weave that word into the phone call. Then again, that’s probably why Catalyst has never invited me to be a concierge.
Remember. Gravitas. If it works, leave a comment so we can let others know.

Tony,
Wow, awesome deal. Sadly, we aren’t making the trek north either. Last year the entire staff of St. Simons Community Church took their staff retreat for Catalyst. It was truly a “catalyst” moment. This year, we’re taking off that first week of October, but we’re staying nearby for a time of staff “R&R” before final stages of moving into our new facility (woo-hoo!)
Appreciate the offer, and look forward to hearing about it .. I know my blog buddy Robert Pooley is going and will probably blog about it.
For the Kingdom,
Fred
